Today match organisers VisionMAX confirmed that they will distribute an allocation of complimentary General Admission Junior tickets among three local football zones - Newcastle Football, Macquarie Football, and Hunter Valley Football.
The tickets will be for kids aged between four and 16 years, and must be utilised in conjunction with a paying adult.
VisionMAX Director, Mr Victor Vives, said that it is important to his company to provide local junior footballers with the opportunity to see a truly unique football match in their backyard.
“It’s not very often that an elite South American club visits Australia, so we want to be able to open this experience up to as many people as possible,” Vives said.
“Audax Italiano may not be a household name in Australia but the quality of their team and players will surprise.”
“The game on Saturday July 8 certainly represents the chance for local youngsters to be exposed to a different style of football,” he said.
Each zone will be responsible for distributing their allocation at its discretion, however interested players are asked to contact their Club management who can then liaise with their respective zone officials.
The match between the Jets and ‘Los Tanos’ will be the first fixture new Jets Head Coach Ernie Merrick oversees.
Fans may also be able to witness fresh recruits Roy O’Donovan, Daniel Georgievski, Glen Moss, Mario Shabow and Kosta Petratos in Club colours for the first time.
