3. Jade North
Jade North is regular with the Qantas Socceroos and was very unlucky not to be selected to represent Australia at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
Jade was born in Taree to the north of the Hunter and has many links with the region.
He plays right back or central defender. A magnificent athlete who can use both feet. Is good in the air and is a danger when leaping from set pieces.
Jade North is the first Indigineous Australian to Captain a Grand Final winning team in any football code, and is proud of his heritage. He lead the team with courage by example in the 2007/2008 season, and is sure to do the same into the future.
Useless Information: Jade North was six years old when he first started playing football after watching it on TV.
