School Holiday Coaching Clinics

FOOTBALL FUN CLINIC
The Newcastle Jets run Football Fun clinics every school holidays for all young Jets fans.

Football Fun Clinics provide an active, healthy and fun way for children of all abilities to spend the holidays. First class coaching delivered in a friendly safe environment; perfect for learning new soccer skills, making friends, building confidence and developing social skills. Most importantly, the emphasis at these coaching clinics is on FUN and gives boys and girls of all levels of ability the opportunity to participate.

Football Fun Philosophy
We believe that players learn better when they are enjoying themselves so we try to make our drills and activities as enjoyable as possible. Each clinic is designed to maximise the amount of time participants spend 'on the ball' and to improve their individual and team skills. All drills are specifically designed to suit the age and skill level of the group. Our group sizes are strictly limited so we can give each participant the attention they deserve.

Our Coaches
Our coaching team is hand selected to deliver the highest standard of junior and youth football coaching. Our coaches implement a wide variety of activities and games that teach new football skills and improve game understanding using an extensive range of equipment and drills.

About the Clinics
Each clinic will go for either three or four days (duration will be confirmed prior to commencement of each clinic). Each coaching day will commence at 10am and conclude at 12.30pm each day. At the commencement of the clinic, each child receives a football fun bag that includes a t-shirt, drink bottle and various offerings from some of our sponsors. The children then participate in the fun activities with each clinic concluding with a barbeque lunch on the final day of coaching.

Meet the Newcastle Jets
All children who attend a Football Fun Clinic will be given the chance to meet the Newcastle Jets players (subject to playing and training schedule). This will occur in one of two ways.

Four Day Clinic
Children who attend a four day clinic will get the opportunity to attend a Newcastle Jets training session at Energy Australia Stadium. The training session will last between one and two hours and will include an autograph session with Newcastle Jets players. Details will be made available to participants prior to the commencement of the coaching clinic.

If Newcastle Jets players are not available as a result of playing or training schedules, parents will be notified prior to the commencement of the affected clinic.
