Jets:CONNECT fuelled by Greater Bank is the the over-arching body of community work undertaken by both the Newcastle Jets and Greater Bank. The program was initiated after community and member feedback, with a view to firstly re-establish and strengthen ties between the Jets and football at a local level.

Jets:CONNECT fuelled by Greater Bank is broken down into four key components, allowing both organisations to support the communities that support them.

The Jets are committed to a minimum of 25 Jets:LEARN primary school visits across Newcastle, the Hunter and regional NSW each year. These visits are all about giving young aspiring footballers the chance to meet with and learn from their local Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League heroes.

As part of our commitment to genuinely helping the community, the Jets and Greater Bank support Jets:PLAY, facilitating a minimum of six public coaching clinics from the Jets. These clinics are completely free, giving everybody the opportunity to learn from professional players.

Each year Greater Bank take the Jets on a pre-season tour to NSW regional areas. As well as broadening the team’s fan base, it gives those residents who don’t have the chance to regularly see the players in action the opportunity to see them up-close and personal.

Greater Bank donates millions of dollars to support local charities through the Greater Charitable Foundation. Jets:CARE provides the opportunity for the club and players to participate in community based volunteering with a Foundation charity partner.
