A massive part of the Newcastle Jets pre-season, the Jets:TOUR fuelled by Greater Bank sees the entire Hyundai A-League squad head to regional areas within New South Wales for open training sessions, clinics and friendly fixtures.

As well as broadening the team’s fan base, it gives those residents who don’t have the chance to regularly see the players in action the opportunity to see them up-close and personal!

The Jets:TOUR fuelled by Greater Bank combines the many things that make the Jets:CONNECT program so great – with Jets:PLAY clinics and Jets:LEARN school visits allowing young, aspiring footballers to see the team train, gaining some valuable insights into the work required to become a professional footballer.

The Jets:TOUR offers a rare visit to regional areas such as Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Dubbo and Orange, from a national sporting team. In partnership with Greater Bank, the Jets are committed to engaging with the fans they represent in right across Northern New South Wales.

As part of the Jets:TOUR, the Newcastle Jets have faced off against both regional select squads and Hyundai A-League opposition in friendly fixtures. These matches offer the opportunity for young aspiring players to see some of the nation’s best footballers first-hand, while also giving the community the chance to see their heroes in action on their doorstep.

In 2018 the Jets:TOUR made its way to Port Macquarie, stopping in Forster for a Jets:PLAY clinic along the way. The Greater Bank helped take Jets:PLAY clinics to Lismore and Coffs Harbour in 2019, ahead of the Jets:TOUR heading to Dubbo and Orange!
