Newcastle Jets are set to take on the A-League’s newest club, Macarthur FC, in a trial match at Maitland Sportsground on Thursday 26 November, kick-off 5.15pm.
It’s the first time that the Jets have returned to Maitland since a pair of trial matches against Central Coast Mariners and Western Sydney Wanderers back in 2018.
Newcastle Jets CEO, Lawrie McKinna said: “Maitland has always been a stronghold for Jets Members and fans, and we’re really keen to bring another pre-season match to the City.
“Maitland Sportsground is a really good facility that we’ve enjoyed playing at in the past, we’re looking forward to taking on the league’s newest side Macarthur and hope that we see plenty of Jets fans there to support our boys.”
General admission tickets are free and must be reserved prior to the match, with grandstand seating available for $5. Tickets are on sale from midday Tuesday 10 November, and can be purchased by clicking here.
