Newcastle Jets player Ben Kantarovski has today been announced in an 18-man Qantas Young Socceroos squad that will go into a training camp next week in Blacktown.

Newcastle Jets player Ben Kantarovski has today been announced in an 18-man Qantas Young Socceroos squad that will go into a training camp next week in Blacktown.

This will be the last Australian-based training camp before the final squad is selected which will compete at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia 2011.

With Versleijen currently overseas with the Qantas Joeys at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Mexico 2011, Qantas Young Socceroos Assistant Coach Ante Milicic will be in charge of this training camp which will include a training match against the Central Coast Mariners on Thursday 7 July.

The final Qantas Young Socceroos squad that will travel to the FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia 2011 is expected to be announced on Monday 11 July.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia 2011 commences on 29 July with the final to be played on 20 August.
