The Newcastle Jets Youth team notched a 4-1 win over Charlestown City Blues in their Round 8 NBN State League clash at Lisle Carr Oval on Sunday.
The Jets went ahead courtesy of a goal from Kale Bradbery midway through the first half, before Brandon Lundy doubled the Jets- lead with a neat left-footed strike.
Charlestown hit back through Scott Smith whop finished smartly over Jets goalkeeper Adam Pearce to make it 2-1.
However, the Jets were able to restore their two-goal advantage when Bradbery completed his brace to make it 3-1 shortly before the half-time interval.
The Jets secured the 4-1 win when Lundy found enough space on the edge of the penalty area to unleash a powerful strike into the back of the net.
