The Newcastle Jets have granted permission for goalkeeper Mark Birighitti to travel to Germany and meet with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have granted permission for current Hyundai A-League contracted player Mark Birighitti to travel to Germany and meet with Bundesliga Club Bayer Leverkusen.
Birighitti flew to Germany on Sunday to talk to key representatives of the Club.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper will return to Australia on Saturday, linking up with his Jets teammates in Perth for their Round 25 Hyundai A-League fixture against Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Sunday.
