Newcastle Jets custodian Ben Kennedy was the guest speaker at Newcastle Airport’s 2015 Golf Day in support of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) on Monday.
Kennedy spoke about supporting his mother, Karen, through her battle with breast cancer and the initiatives he and the Club have pursued in the past in support of women’s cancer research, prevention, awareness, and support services.
Over 100 golfers took part in Newcastle Airport’s charitable Golf Day at Pacific Dunes Gold Course in Medowie to help raise funds for HBCF and connect with other local people in from Newcastle’s business community.
