The Newcastle Jets will now have black numbers on their away playing strip due to popular demand.
The Newcastle Jets will travel to Adelaide for their Round 8 game and will wear their away strip for just the second time this season.
The away strip was first worn in the Round 6 match against the Heart. The away strip carried the gold numbers and names.
Following the game the Jets received feedback from Members and supporters indicating the gold was difficult to read on television.
The Jets management have listened, and undertaken their own research, and decided to revert to black numbers, as is currently used by the Jets W-League team.
The Jets would like to thank their Members for their feedback and assistance in this process.
