The Jets announce Josh Brillante has extended his contract with the Club until the end of the 2014/15 season.
The Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce defender/midfielder Josh Brillante has extended his contract with the Club until the end of the 2014/15 season.
Brillante, who was already with the Club next season, is pleased to add an extra year on his contract with the Jets.
“I like the direction the Club is going and I want to continue playing at the Jets,” the 19-year old said.
“I certainly didn-t expect the opportunities afforded to me this season but I am obviously pleased to have played as much as I have.
“You can always do better but so far this season I have exceeded my own expectations and we are looking forward to finishing off the season strongly.”
The Jets are pleased to secure Brillante for an additional year.
“It is fantastic Josh has agreed to extend his contract with the Jets,” CEO Robbie Middleby said.
“His attitude on and off the field has been outstanding and Josh thoroughly deserves this contract extension.
“He will have a great opportunity at the FIFA Under 20s World Cup to test himself against some of the world-s best young players and we are excited about his future at the Club.”
