Bernardo Ribeiro, Dominik Ritter and Emile Heskey spoke to Jets TV about how they plan to spend their first Aussie Christmas.

Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets imports Bernardo Ribeiro, Dominik Ritter and Emile Heskey spoke to Jets TV about how they plan to spend their first Christmas in Australia.

The trio discussed what it is like being away from family and friends at this time of the year, while also revealing some of the Christmas traditions from their homeland and how they differ to the Australian way of celebrating the festive season.

Heskey said he is looking forward to experiencing an Australian Christmas.

“I plan to spend Christmas enjoying the sun rather than the snow and sampling Christmas dinner in Australia, which is going to be a lot different to in England,” he said.

“We-re used to quite a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, pork and stuffing, but speaking to Bridgey, he said there-s none of that over here. It-s barbecue-s and stuff like that.”
