The Newcastle Jets are proud to support the Men of Football Golf Day to be held at Merewether Golf Club on March 25.
All proceeds raised from the event will go to Men of Football, a local organisation aimed at giving a helping hand to those in need in the football community. Funds raised by the organisation go towards medical operations, equipment and counselling.
It will be a 4-man Ambrose competition, with various prizes awarded within the round including longest drive and nearest the pin.
There will also be a special discussion after the round involving former teammates of Reg Date and the author of his soon-to-be-released story.
