Round 6 of the HAL competition sees the Newcastle Jets take on current league leaders, the Brisbane Roar.

It-s been a quick two weeks since the last Jets home game, but we-ve still managed to do a number of Jets in the Community activities.
The players have been out and about regularly helping others, visiting schools, raising awareness of important social issues, and generally spreading some cheer throughout the community.
AT THE GAME
Ticket donations
The Jets have donated the game day ‘charity box- to Down Syndrome NSW. This charity was established by the families of people with Down Syndrome in 1980. It provides support and information to people with Down Syndrome and their families, service providers and the wider community.
Ticket donations have been made to Legacy in recognition of Remembrance Day, and the vital services and support this organisation provides to thousands of Australian families suffering financially and socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service.
Around the ground
A Vietnam veteran from Legacy will perform the on-field coin toss before the start of the match. There will also be ground announcements and other Legacy representatives and families watching the game.
The Club’s major partner, Aurizon is promoting its partnership with the Heart Foundation. Look out for the Happy Heart mascot plus important messages about your heart health and how you can support this great organisation.
