This week in Flight Centre Departure Lounge we chat with recently recruited Newcastle Jets attacker Ryan Kitto.
Kitto finalised his season-long deal with Scott Miller’s men on Saturday morning having started the week with the club as a trialist.
Kitto will conclude his whirlwind week with a trip back to his home state with the Jets to take on his former employers, Adelaide United, at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.
“It’s been pretty crazy and full on,” Kitto told Departure Lounge about his first week with the Jets from Sydney Airport. “Hopefully we’ll come home with three points.”
For Jets supporters who may be making the trip to South Australia for the match, Kitto has the following advice.
“I grew up in a little country region called McLaren Vale, and they’ve got some beautiful wineries down there and some beautiful scenery, so if you have got time definitely head down there.”
The Jets take on Adelaide United at 5:00pm AEDT on Sunday.
