E-League: Playing for points in week two

It’s week two of the E-League, but the first week where the competitors will play for points after technical difficulties hampered our opening matchday against Adelaide United.

This Thursday night, it’s Melbourne Victory who N8 Liz and Fweshest will do battle with on the Xbox and PS4 respectively.

Our Jets come into the match on a high, after romping home to a stunning and unfancied 9-3 aggregate win against the Reds.

WEEK ONE: An opening day E-League victory

N8 Liz shocked the competition, with a pair of wins (2-1 and 1-0) against FUTWIZ Jamie, on her debut in the E-League, while Fweshest romped home 4-0 in his first outing before securing a 2-2 draw with vDreaMz-Shooter.

This weekend’s opponents, Melbourne Victory, won out in last Thursday’s Melbourne Derby 6-5 on aggregate.

On the PS4, Fweshest is the in-form player after his 6-2 aggregate win last weekend. This weekend’s opponent, Sarge_Fifa, went down 2-1 in both of his encounters with City last weekend.

Things are a little more hard to determine over on the Xbox at this stage though, with both competitors (N8 Liz and Mozwed) coming into the clash off the back of a pair of wins.

Mozwed beat out his City counterpart, Storm Noa, 2-0 and 2-1.

You can catch all of the E-League action on Fox Sports 505, or Twitch, from 9.30pm Thursday evening.
