Ruben Zadkovich says the players are working hard in training and are determined to get their season back on track.
While first to admit that their form has not been great recently, Ruben Zadkovich promises the Members and supporters of the Newcastle Jets that the players are working hard in training and are determined to get their season back on track.
“It is frustrating that we are not playing to our best ability and you have these tough times in fooball where things don-t go your way and the only way to fix it is to work hard and that is what we are trying to do,” Zadkovich explained.
“We have good players and need to be patient as only four or five weeks ago we were playing some nice football and getting good results.”
After a draw to Perth Glory on New Years Eve, Zadkovich is hoping Wednesday night-s game against Gold Coast United will allow the team to prove a point.
“We love playing games in front of crowds and hopefully we can get a good result this week,” he added.
“I don-t care about my own ambitions or goals at the moment, I just want to do anything I can to help the team win.
“We have a great Membership and supporter base here, and there are some really good people involved in and around the club and in the town and we just need to win for those people and ourselves and that is what we will be trying to do on Wednesday night.”
