Newcastle Jets Members are invited to celebrate the forthcoming start of Hyundai A-League season 11 with the Club on Saturday 26 September.
The Jets will be holding its official Members Season Launch at Magic Park on Curley Road, Broadmeadow with gates opening at 2:30pm.
Entry is FREE and EXCLUSIVE to all 2015/16 Newcastle Jets registered Members.
The Club’s Members Season Launch will provide Jets Members with the opportunity to watch Scott Miller’s squad in action in an intra-club trial game.
Miller and Senior Assistant Coach Jean-Paul de Marigny will take charge of one side, with Foxtel National Youth League Head Coach Clayton Zane at the helm of the other.
Miller said he wanted Jets Members to be able to witness as many of the Club’s players in action as possible prior to the start of the 2015/16 campaign.
“We’re placing a big focus on the relationship and integration between the first team and youth team, as well as the Westfield W-League side and Emerging Jets,” Miller said.
“Playing an intra-club trial will enable us to expose our full first team squad, plus many of our youth players to Jets Members.
“Our Members Launch will also provide us with the opportunity to recognise and thank the many committed Jets Members who have shown their support to the Club over the past days, weeks, months and years.
“It’s obviously been a big off-season for the Club, but the backing we’ve received from our Members has everyone involved truly encouraged, enthused and excited,” he said.
Here are FIVE further reasons to get be at the Newcastle Jets 2015/16 Members Launch:
- The Club’s Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Season Captain will be named and interviewed on ground prior to kick off!
- The Club’s Head Coach Scott Miller will be interviewed on ground prior to kick off!
- Every Jets Member who registers to attend the Members Launch will be placed in the draw to win the ‘Ultimate Jets Jersey Pack’ containing home (blue), away (white), third (gold) and goalkeeper (red) jerseys! The draw will take place at half time.
- Approximately five minutes after full time Jets Members will be allowed on the field to have their own kick about, mingle with Jets players, as well as get photographs with and autographs from their favourites! Don’t forget to bring your ball!
- There will be plenty to do before kick off, including face painting for the kids and the opportunity to purchase 2015/16 Merchandise!
