Friday: Newcastle Jets vs. Sydney FC

End the working week with a trip to Hunter Stadium to see the Newcastle Jets battle NSW rivals Sydney FC this Friday night.

The Sky Blues have been in some hot form recently, and will travel to Newcastle knowing a win for them is key to their hopes of lifting the Hyundai A-League Premiers Plate.

Meanwhile, our squad are desperate to turn their recent run of draws into a win and send our Members and fans home happy.

In good news for the Jets, midfielders Ben Kantarovski and Andrew Hoole will be available for selection for the clash with Sydney after a missing a week due to suspension, while Serbian attacker Enver Alivodić should feel fitter following his first hit out in the Hyundai A-League against Central Coast Mariners at the weekend.

Lee Ki-je appears to be getting better every game, and we’ll need our South Korean ace operating at full capacity to thwart the threat of Bernie Ibini & co. Centrally, Daniel Mullen and Taylor Regan have the chance to show just how good they are up against the likes of Marc Janko and Shane Smeltz.

Kick-off on Friday night is at 7:40pm, with gates at 6:30pm.
