Almost 7,000 fans braved some wicked conditions to come out and see the Jets take on Perth at McDonald Jones Stadium last Sunday.
Two first-half goals to Perth condemned Newcastle to defeat, but it was a spirited effort from the Jets and on another day, three points could have been in the bag.
