Entries are open for this season’s Hyundai Goals for Grassroots initiative.
This fantastic initiative from the Hyundai Motor Company Australia provides grants to local grassroots football clubs across Australia.
During each round of the Hyundai A-League season, one match is designated as the ‘Goals for Grassroots’ game.
If your team is chosen, the selected junior club is issued with an array of match day benefits including match tickets and receive a guaranteed $1,000 grant plus an additional $1,000 for every goal that the home team scores (up to maximum of $10,000 per game).
The Newcastle Jets have been designated three ‘Goals for Grassroots’ games in Round 5, Round 18 and Round 24.
