After scoring his team-s only goal during the Hunter Ports- Newcastle Jets 1-all draw to competition leaders and F3 rivals the Central Coast Mariners, Labinot Haliti was quick to praise the efforts of his teammates.

“I received good service from Brockie and the week before from Ryan so when the service is good all I have to do is finish it and that is something I am working on and I still think there is room for improvement,” the humble striker explained.

Despite a miserable trip to Bluetongue in week 10, Saturday-s visit was a different story for the Novocastrians.

“”It would have been better if we had gotten the three points but I am just happy to be part of the team and I am really enjoying myself.”

“You need to turn up on the day and forget what-s in the past and concentrate on the present,” the striker explained.

The Jets will line-up again on Friday night at home for their week 16 game against Wellington Phoenix, click here to buy tickets.
