“When the opportunity came up to play three quality matches at this stage of our preparations we had no hesitation in accepting ,“ said Vidmar.

“It has been a while since we have been together as group and I will be using this camp to assess how everyone is progressing.”

“This will also be the first time that a number players have joined the group and it will interesting to see how they fit into the playing style.

“We want to get positives result from this tournament, but the overall goal is for all players to get used to the playing style that we want to take into the qualification campaign,” concluded Vidmar‘

The Olyroos will face the Brazilian U-22 team in their opening match on Friday 14 November, China PR in their second match on Sunday 16 November and then the Korea Republic in their final match of the tournament on Tuesday 18 November.
