The Newcastle Jets will be looking to extend their exceptional form at home when they tackle fierce rival Sydney FC on Saturday 17 December.

The Jets have now won four of five matches at Ausgrid Stadium, with their only defeat at the hands of the A-League Champions Brisbane Roar. The trip to Newcastle has become one of the hardest in the league for visiting Clubs, due in part to the enormous support that-s been evident from the Hunter community.

The Jets secured three points from their home game against the Victory last weekend in front of over 17,000 Members and supporters, the largest crowd in over four years, and are hopeful for an even bigger audience at the Sydney FC match.

There-s no love lost between the Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC with a number of player swaps between Clubs, including old Newcastle favourites Nicky Carle and Mark Bridge now donning the sky blue strip while Michael Bridges, Sung-Hwan Byun, Jeremy Brockie, Nikolai Topor-Stanley, Ruben Zadkovich and Chris Payne now proudly wear the red and blue.

Only one point separates the 3rd placed Sydney FC and the 4th placed Newcastle Jets. Tickets are on sale now through PROticket. Buy now to secure the best seats.
