The use of player benches was implemented at the beginning of the 2015/16 season at Hunter Stadium.
During wet weather or the threat of inclement weather, the player benches will have a clear perspex cover installed to provide players and coaching staff with some protection from the elements.
Some Members - particularly those seated in the lower half of Bays 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 - will have restricted views in the event that the covers are installed.
The decision to install the covers has been delegated to the Match Commissioner appointed by Football Federation Australia (FFA). A Club representative will work closely with the Match Commissioner during the decision making process to ensure that all implications, including the impact on Members’ view are considered.
During matches where the covers are installed, seats in the Upper Western Grandstand will be made available for affected Members. Members can also visit Membership Services on game day to organise a suitable seat relocation (subject to availability).
The Club will also advise Members via the Club’s official Facebook page and Twitter account approximately two hours before kick-off if the covers are going to be installed.
