Originally an attacker, Jason Hoffman has transformed his game over past seasons to become one of the Hyundai A-League’s most reliable right backs. A Newcastle born and bred player, Hoffman won the 2008 Hyundai A-League Championship with the Jets and also featured in the 2009 AFC Champions League for the club. Hoffman transferred to Melbourne Heart/City in 2010, and spent five years with the Victorian outfit before returning to the Hunter in mid-2015 on a one-season contract.
