The positive momentum continues to roll out for the Jets, as Executive Chairman Ken Edwards today announced several significant staff appointments.

“It is with great pleasure that the Club announces that CEO, John Tsatsimas has agreed to stay with the Club. John has a deep understanding of football and the Jets, and is a strong advocate for the new football structure and community focus put in place to assist Coach Branko Culina and the players,” said Mr Edwards.

The Club has also announced the creation of a new position, Director Membership and Corporate; which will be filled by one of the country-s leading sports marketing executives, Richard Fisk.

A Lake Macquarie resident for the past 15 years, Richard is known to many within the media and sporting landscape through his involvement in radio and several decades of Rugby League and sport. Richard spent 11 years as General Manager, Marketing and Media with the Sydney Roosters, where he was a part of the substantial growth in the Roosters brand and most recently was the CEO of the Cronulla Sharks.

“I am thrilled to be a part of a major rebuild of a national brand as significant as the Jets. To have the opportunity to work with such professionals as Ken, John and Branko will be exciting,” said Richard.

Mr Edwards has also announced a morale boost for the Jets other key front office staff with confirmation that Andrew Licata - Marketing and Media Manager, Aaron Abela - Chief Financial Officer, Steve Watson - Commercial Manager and Neville Bajzath - Events and Ticketing Manager will continue on to assist with the growth of the business. Eclipse Media, Events and PR Managing Director, Tracy Kearney, will also join the Executive Team and provide strategic direction and advice to the Club.

“It-s such an exciting time for the Club and the football community. The countdown is now on to our next two home games and we continue to work diligently with the aim of giving this club back to its rightful owners - the Jets Family and the broader community of Newcastle, the Hunter and Northern NSW,” said Mr Edwards.

The Jets will make several exciting community announcements over the coming week - so stay tuned!
