The Newcastle Jets will mark the 10-year anniversary of the Club’s participation in the Hyundai A-League with special celebrations and promotions at the Round 11 fixture against Adelaide United at Hunter Stadium on December 19th.
The Jets played their first ever Hyundai A-League match against the Reds at then Energy Australia Stadium on Friday, August 26th 2005.
The 10-year anniversary match, which will be sponsored by Newcastle Airport, will involve special entertainment, promotions, competitions and prizes that will make the fixture simply unmissable for all Newcastle Jets supporters and Members.
Club Members will be encouraged to attend the match with an exclusive Member-only competition prize to be announced next week and non-Members and will be able to secure tickets at great discounted prices so all football fans can be part of this special occasion.
To kick-off the celebrations, the Newcastle Jets are offering $1 tickets* to watch the match against Adelaide United, which will be on-sale at ticketmaster.com.au for a 10-minute window starting at 10am tomorrow.
The earlier Jets supporters purchase their ticket, the cheaper it will be for them to attend the 10-year anniversary match!
The 10am, 10-minute ticket offer will continue for 10 days up until the day before the match, with ticket prices during this window increasing by a dollar each day.

Tuesday 9/12 – $1 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Wednesday 10/12 – $2 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Thursday 11/12 – $3 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Friday 12/12 – $4 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Saturday 13/12 – $5 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Sunday 14/12 – $6 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Monday 15/12 – $7 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Tuesday 16/12 – $8 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Wednesday 17/12 – $9 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Thursday 18/12 – $10 tickets between 10am and 10:10am
Friday 19/12 – Tickets return to regular price on day of the match versus Adelaide United.
Outside of the 10-minute window at 10am on each day listed above, tickets for the 10-year anniversary match will be sold at the regular prices for Jets home matches.
