Newcastle Jets are set to take on Melbourne Victory in the FFA Cup 2019 Round of 32 after the two sides were pitted against one another in Wednesday night’s draw.
It’s the second time the Jets have played Victory in the competition, with the 2016 encounter ending in a win for a visiting Melbourne side.
In 2018, Newcastle was drawn against Gold Coast Knights and won their first-ever FFA Cup Round of 32 match, 1-0, to progress in the competition.
