A Jets Family Membership pack was on the line at half time in Monday’s NRL clash between the Newcastle Knights and Cronulla Sharks.
A Family Membership pack was on the line when Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets players Ryan Griffiths, James Brown and Scott Neville participated in kick for goal competition at half time in Monday-s NRL clash between the Newcastle Knights and Cronulla Sharks at Hunter Stadium.
The three Jets players were representing contestants Scott McLean, Luke Pleasance and Tania Gross.
Kicking for Luke Pleasance, Ryan Griffiths got the competition off to a flying start, having no troubles kicking three from three.
James Brown followed suit with a similarly flawless performance for his contestant Tania Gross.
Scott Neville and his contestant Scott McLean were the first to bow out of the competition when he was off target with his second and third shots.
Griffiths and Brown then took part in a head-to-head kick-off from 40 metres out. With neither player able to convert, Luke Pleasance and Tania Gross we declared joint winners and both will receive a Jets Family Membership pack for the coming A-League season.
