Jets Embrace Fans

The Newcastle Jets visited Westfield Kotara on Thursday night giving fans the opportunity to mix with their football heroes. This was a timely event with the World Cup set to kick off this weekend.

It was an entertaining night with the Bombers Cheer Squad opening the event by performing a dance routine. This was followed by interviews with Tarek Elrich and Michael Bridges and the entire Jets team were then introduced to the solid crowd that turned up to witness the event. Supporters were offered stickers and team posters and fans had the opportunity to get their favourite player signatures.

During the event, a Jets Trivia competition saw some lucky participants win Jets merchandise including a signed Newcastle Jets ball and signed Labinot Haliti shirt plus a number of other prizes.

The Newcastle Jets are very appreciative of all the supporters who participated in this event. We thank you for your loyal and on going support and encourage anybody who missed out on this event to come to our next public appearance. We have a number of public appearances scheduled during the FIFA World Cup including local schools, junior football clubs and local shopping centres.
