Tonight the Newcastle Jets host Melbourne Victory for Round 9 of the Hyundai A-League.

Tonight the Newcastle Jets host Melbourne Victory at Ausgrid Stadium for Round 9 of the Hyundai A-League.

The fifth placed Jets will be looking to convert their good form into three-points when the game kicks off at 7.45pm.

A reminder the new range of Jets Merchandise has arrived in store this week and will be available at the Hunter Sports Superstore as well as at the game tonight.

It should make for a great sight at Ausgrid Stadium when the stands are filled with even more red and blue.

Ticket sales have been strong this week and the Club is anticipating a crowd of 20,000.

Coach Gary van Egmond will finalise his starting XI and bench 90 minutes prior to tonight’s game. Striker Francis Jeffers has been ruled out due to groin soreness after goalkeeper Ben Kennedy was ruled out earlier in the week. Michael Bridges is expected to come off the bench, and will play his first game back in the A-League.
