The Newcastle Jets have signed up their 5,500th Member en route to achieving their goal of 11,000 Members.
The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have reached the halfway mark en route to achieving their goal of 11,000 Members.
The Jets signed up their 5,500th Member and Jets CEO Robbie Middleby said it was exciting that the Club-s Membership drive was off to such a strong start.
“It-s fantastic that less than a month after going on sale we are already halfway to our goal of 11,000 members,” Middleby said.
“It-s a testament to the passion of the football community in the Hunter region that we-ve achieved the figure of 5,500 Members and that our Membership sales are tracking better than they were this time last year.
“Our Members provided us with some wonderful support last season and we-re hoping they will be a big part of what we-re hoping to achieve this season.”
With the opportunity for 2011/12 Members to renew their existing seats closing at 3pm on Friday, July 27, Middleby is confident the Jets- Membership numbers will continue to grow.
“There are still two and half months left before we kick things off with our opening match against Adelaide United at Hunter Stadium on Sunday, October 7,” he said.
“During this time we look forward to welcoming back more of our existing Members from the 2011/12 season as well as meeting our new Members who want to come on board and support the Jets.
“We have set an ambitious target and we will keep working hard to get our 11,000 Members.”
The 2012/13 Membership packages offer exceptional value and remain at the same affordable price as last season, with a Community Reserved Membership starting at as little as $115 for an Adult, $60 for a Child and $260 for Families.
