In this week-s edition of Jets Insider, central defender Josh Mitchell answered questions submitted by the Club-s Members and supporters.

Mitchell discussed his season so far, the team-s focus for the final six rounds and his love of poker.

Robert Sacre asks via email: How do you sum up your season so far?

Josh Mitchell (JM): I-ve been happy with my contribution to the team when I-ve been called on so far, but with six games to go, I think my season will be defined more so after those matches than anything.

Alex Hoolihan asks via email: How do you maintain the right attitude when you-re not playing regularly?

JM: It-s all about mindset and attitude. No getting a lot of game time is something that is very difficult, but I-ve learnt to treat it the right way this season.

I-ve learnt to do the right thing and have the right attitude no matter whether I-m playing youth team, first team or whatever it may be.

@hecivan70 asks via Twitter: Josh, how do you compare this squad to last years; is it stronger?

JM: I do think it is a stronger squad. The young players have improved again, which I was confident they would and I think the new signings that have come in have also contributed a lot to the season.

Sandra Young asks via email: What-s your focus for these last six matches?

JM: Qualifying for the Finals Series, it-s a simple as that. That-s our only goal at the moment, just trying to pick up as many points as possible from each match and making sure we finish the season in the top six.

Wally Dangerfield asks via email: What-s the key to make sure we qualify for the Finals Series?

JM: Hard work, discipline and ruthlessness. If we can apply those traits to everything we do for the next six weeks, we should hopefully be in the mix.

@Spartan_MV asks via Twitter: When you scored against Perth, you did a card dealing celebration, is it true you are the best poker player in the A-League?

JM: (Laughs) Now that Danny Vukovic has left for Japan, I-m clearly the best poker player in the A-League. It-s definitely a hobby of mine and something that I enjoy doing away from football.

@HALBanter asks via Twitter: Can I have your boots?

JM: If you-re asking about the ones I wore against the Wanderers on the weekend, they-re a pair of NIKE Zoom boots from the early 2000s.

I like them because they have really long studs, which makes them great for wet weather.

I-ve used those as wet weather boots for most of my career and I bought three pairs about 10 years ago, but these are my last pair, so sorry, you can-t have my boots.

@RussBear82 asks via Twitter: How is it possible you have nearly 1000 more followers than the great @adamtaggart22?

JM: (Laughs) Better banter and more interesting tweets.

Patrick Wright asks via email: How have you enjoyed playing with Kew Jaliens?

JM: It-s been really enjoyable because he-s a very experienced professional, a great guy and someone that any player can take note from and look up to.

@JayleePoker asks via Twitter Who-s better at poker? You or @EmileHeskeyUK?

JM: I don-t think Emile knows the rules. Michael Bridges loves a game though.
