The Jets have now signed 9,528 Members, with the Club receiving a significant boost after Emile Heskey’s signing.
The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have now signed 9,528 Members, with the Club receiving a significant boost in Membership numbers after announcing new Jets signing former England striker Emile Heskey five days ago.
Heskey is one of the biggest names to grace the A-League competition having represented England on 62 occasions, including three World Cups, and played over 500 English Premier League games.

This Membership support has ensured the Club still has the second biggest Membership in the A-League behind Melbourne Victory and ahead of Clubs such as Sydney FC, Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory.
The Jets have set an ambitious target of 11,000 Members for the 2012/13 season, and Jets Coach Gary van Egmond is calling on the Hunter community to make the Membership commitment.

Several thousand of the best seats at Hunter Stadium are currently being held for new Members expected to join in the coming weeks.
The Jets offer the most affordable Membership packages in the A-League. Supporters can reserve their seat for 13 huge games with prices starting from as little as $115 for Adults, $240 for a Family and $60 for Juniors.
The Jets have recruited heavily in the off-season with young talent, and Heskey-s experience will compliment the current roster.
