The Newcastle Jets have named an unchanged 17-man squad for Tuesday’s New Years Day clash with Melbourne Heart.

The Newcastle Jets have named an unchanged 17-man squad for Tuesday’s New Years Day clash with Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park.

The squad, which has stayed in Melbourne since Saturday’s game against the Victory, trained on Sunday and will train on Monday before finalising the starting eleven.

Scott Neville, who was a late withdrawal against the Victory due to hamstring tightness, completed the full session on Sunday and will be a likely inclusion in the team.

The Jets trained strongly on Sunday as they manage a heavy workload of three games in seven days.
