The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have signed up their 10,000th Member in the lead-up to Saturday-s F3 Derby clash with the Central Coast Mariners at Hunter Stadium.

It is the third straight season that the Jets have passed the 10,000 Member milestone.

Community Reserved Members Scott Marshall and his children Fin and Sophie took the tally past five digits when they signed up on Tuesday.

“My son plays football and he-s really into it, so I thought it was a good opportunity for us as a family to get to some games and support the Jets,” Marshall said.

“We-re really looking forward to the weekend-s game against the Mariners.

“It will be good to see how we go against one of the top teams in the competition and it-s always good to beat your local rivals.”

It is not too late to join the 10,000 other Jets supporters who have chosen to STAND WITH US and become a Jets Member for the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season.
