This Saturday will see the usual F3 Derby take a detour west of the F3, with the Newcastle Jets heading into wine country to take on Sydney FC in a pre-season trial match at Cessnock.
Adding to the excitement on the day, the pre-match will feature Northern NSW going head to head with a Queensland side, followed by the Jets against Sydney FC.
With each side focussed on giving as many players possible crucial game time in the lead up to round one, a number of big-name signings are tipped to take to the field, with both the Jets and Sydney FC expected to start full-strength teams (bar injury) going into the clash at Cessnock.
With a host of Socceroo stars set to grace the upcoming A-League competition when it kicks off on October 8th, the Cessnock trial match allows fans the chance to get behind the Jets and catch a pre-season glimpse of what-s to come!
