Players from the Newcastle Jets A-League and W-League teams were special guests at a Northern NSW Football schools soccer gala day last week in Metford.
As part of a schools engagement program, this is the third gala day that-s been supported by the Jets this year.
The players commented that it has been absolutely fantastic to be out in the community and assisting with grass roots development of the game.
Jets players, Ben Kennedy, Ben Kantarovski, Tara Andrews and Madeline Searl joined the kids as they played 5-a-side games and acted as judges for a football juggling competition.
