Although the Newcastle Jets are playing away in Adelaide this weekend, the team still urges everyone to get involved in the Run Newcastle event this Sunday!
One hundred per cent of participants’ entry fees goes to the John Hunter Children’s Hospital, so fans are encouraged to get running, walking or rolling.
The Jets players have donned the Run Newcastle laces in their boots during training this week to show their support for the event.
Run Newcastle-s 6km and 12km courses both start and end on the Newcastle Foreshore.
Even if people aren’t available for the event, they can register HERE as a virtual runner and show their support for the great cause.
Entries will also be taken on the day between 6am and 8.30am.
