The Newcastle Jets Youth team were defeated 3-0 by Hamilton Olympic in Round 14 of the NBN State League at Darling Street Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Hamilton went into the half-time break with a 1-0 lead after Andrew Swan put them ahead with a clinical finish in the 25th minute of the contest.
The home side doubled their advantage midway through the second half through Mason Campbell, before Pat Brown sealed all three points in the dying stages of the contest.
The result leaves the Jets in seventh place on the NBN State League ladder, four points outside the top five with five matches remaining.
