#JetsTour to land in Forster and Port Macquarie
The Newcastle Jets Hyundai A-League squad will be hitting the road on Monday 16 July as they take off on their #JetsTour fuelled by Greater Bank.
The squad will make their way to Port Macquarie for a fixture against a MidNorth Coast Select Side on Tuesday 17 July at Port Macquarie Regional Stadium.
The #JetsTour fuelled by Greater Bank will also feature clinics in Forster and Port Macquarie.
Jets CEO, Lawrie McKinna said the club was looking forward to a return to Port Macquarie.
“The way the Port Macquarie community came out to support the boys last year was something special,” McKinna said.
“To have more than 4,000 people attend a trial game on a very cold Tuesday night was a credit to Football Mid North Coast and the entire town.
“Football Mid North Coast have been massive supporters of ours, with more than 400 fans travelling to Newcastle for last year’s RAAF Round.
“It was a great way to start our season last year and the boys are looking forward to heading back into Northern New South Wales, it’s a fantastic footballing community that we’re proud to represent.”
