Newcastle Jets will depart for Tamworth – via Muswellbrook – on Wednesday for a four-day camp culminating in a Hyundai A-League pre-season trial match against Central Coast Mariners at Scully Park Regional Sporting Precinct.
The trip is the second annual Jets: Tour fuelled by Greater Bank – the club’s Major Community Partner.
The Jets will conduct two free ‘Jets: Play’ clinics for up to 200 kids during the tour, make four school visits, conduct one open training session, and play the trial match against the Mariners as the club continues to engage with the Northern New South Wales community.
The free ‘Jets: Play’ clinics will take place in Muswellbrook and Tamworth, there will be two school visits in Tamworth, one in Armidale and one in Gunnedah, while the open training session and match will both take place in Australia’s country music capital.
The Hyundai A-League 2016/17 pre-season trial match is being supported by Wests Entertainment Group, and tickets for the game – which will kick-off at 4:00pm on Saturday 13 August – can be purchased here.
