The Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the launch of the Jet Well Community Program supported by Slater and Gordon Lawyers.
The Club is also pleased to confirm that John Hunter Children’s Hospital will once again be an Official Charity Partner of the Club for the upcoming 2014-15 Hyundai A-League season.
The Jet Well program will see Newcastle Jets players undertake visits and activities at the Children’s Hospital to help local children feel well and provide them with the opportunity to meet their football heroes.
Thanks to the support of Slater and Gordon Lawyers, the Newcastle Jets will be able to expand the Club’s previous relationship with John Hunter Children’s Hospital to provide more player interactions, tickets, merchandise and once in a lifetime experiences to the children being treated at the hospital and their families.
This new and unique partnership will see the Club and a Sponsor work together to make a difference in the community and to support a charity that is important to everyone in the Hunter region.

Jets Players Joel Griffiths and Sam Galloway were at John Hunter Children’s Hospital today for the announcement and were joined by Jets fan Jacob Cooper and his family.
Jacob Cooper, aged 13, was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia in 2012 and has been receiving treatment at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital for the last two years.
During this time, Jacob received visits from Jets players to help him through his treatment. The good news is that Jacob is now in remission from his Leukaemia and is a shining example of the positive impact that the Jet Well program hopes to have this year.
The Club presented Jacob and his family with a gold membership for the season and wished Jacob all the best with his ongoing recovery.
