Newcastle Jets Members will benefit from FREE entry to the Qantas Olyroos Preliminary Round matches of the 2012 London Olympics Asian Qualifying Series, hosted by FFA, that will be held at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford and AUSGRID Stadium, Newcastle on Sunday 19th June and Thursday 23rd June, respectively.
Newcastle Jets Members will benefit from FREE entry to the Qantas Olyroos Preliminary Round matches of the 2012 London Olympics Asian Qualifying Series, hosted by FFA, that will be held at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford and AUSGRID Stadium, Newcastle on Sunday 19th June and Thursday 23rd June, respectively.
All 2010/2011 Jets and Hyundai A-League Members will be able to attend both games, for free, upon presentation of their member card at the gate.
Jets very own Marco Jesic scored during the first training game against Singapore last week with a 25 yard strike.
After his goal, Jesic will be eager for a start in front of his home crowd having recently been named part of the Olyroos 21 man squad.
The Qantas Olyroos need to win both of these matches on aggregate to progress to the next round of qualification which sees the 12 winners from Round 2 divided into three groups of four teams each.
The teams in each group will then play in a home-and-away format from 21 September 2011 to 14 March 2012, with the winner of each group directly qualifying for the London 2012 Olympic Games Football competition.
