Newcastle Jets today welcomed another major partner on board for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season, with leading global smartphone and tablet brand ALCATEL ONETOUCH becoming the latest company to commit its support to the Club.

ALCALTEL ONETOUCH becomes the fourth major partner to establish a relationship with the Jets in the past three months, following the confirmation of respected brands Beechwood Homes, Inspirations Paint and the Greater Building Society to the Club’s corporate family.

As part of the significant new partnership, ALCATEL ONETOUCH branding will feature on the back of the Jets’ away jerseys throughout the eleventh season of the Hyundai A-League.

Moreover, Newcastle Jets Members and fans can expect a number of exciting ALCATEL ONETOUCH product demonstrations and fan engagement events at the club’s home matches at Hunter Stadium throughout the campaign.

Newcastle Jets Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Eland, said that he feels that that the partnership between Newcastle Jets and ALCATEL ONETOUCH will prove to be mutually beneficial thanks to the beliefs and brand attributes that co-exist between the organisations.

“ALCATEL ONETOUCH is an international, multicultural company that pride themselves on being a lifestyle driven brand, and making their technologies accessible to as many people as possible,” Mr Eland said.

“ALCATEL ONETOUCH also seek to immerse their brand in activities that the broad community is passionate about, so the game of football and the Hyundai A-League certainly provides them with an avenue to engage with a diverse range of people both locally and nationally.”

“It’s exciting for us to welcome a company with operations in over 160 countries around the globe on board, and this deal definitely demonstrates the continued and growing support that we’re receiving from the corporate sector,” he said.

ALCATEL ONETOUCH Regional Managing Director, Mr Sam Skontos was excited about the opportunities a partnership with Newcastle Jets presents.

“One of the important factors is the way in which the Jets act on behalf of their community and work hard to ensure that football is accessible through low cost membership and ticket options. Having access to great entertainment at an affordable cost is something that is also part of our DNA.”

“We have been very impressed with the passion with which the Newcastle FC team went about representing their team and community. We are proud to be part of the Jets family, and look forward to an exciting season ahead.”

As part of the commencement of the partnership between Newcastle Jets and ALCATEL ONETOUCH, football fans have the opportunity to win a Jets 2015/16 away jersey signed by the Club’s new Serbian striker Miloš Trifunović, as well as an ALCATEL ONETOUCH PIXI 7 tablet.
