Ten Newcastle Jets Hyundai A-League squad members ventured to Metford on Tuesday to help run the club’s second ‘Jets: Play’ Clinic of the 2015/16 season thanks to the Greater Building Society.
New recruits Morten Nordstrand and Steven Ugarkovic were joined by Ben Kennedy, Ben Kantarovski, Mitch Cooper, Lachlan Jackson, Nick Cowburn, Ryan Kitto, Andy Brennan and Brandon Lundy at Fieldsend Oval.
The players helped coach over 150 participants during a 45-minute skills session, and also signed autographs and posed for pictures with the kids.
Each child received a free ‘Jets: Play’ goody bag thanks to the Greater Building Society, who are the club’s major community partner.
