Goalkeeper Jack Duncan was today presented with his award as the Newcastle Jets’ Beechwood Homes Player of the Month for November 2016.

Duncan received just under 50 per cent of the vote from fans on the Club’s official website – www.NewcastleJets.com.au.

The other nominees for November 2016 were versatile Jets midfielder Wayne Brown, plus Jets Women’s American stars Jen Hoy and Arin Gilliland.

The Award will be presented to one Hyundai A-League player or Westfield W-League player throughout each team’s 2016/17 season.

Duncan played in four matches throughout November for Newcastle Jets against Wellington Phoenix, Melbourne City, Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory.

While the Jets’ first team only gained one draw from those four matches, Duncan proved to be a standout performer for the Club, making numerous key saves to gain the applause of fans and media alike.

Duncan has made 40 saves so far this Hyundai A-League season to lead the league for saves made, showing how crucial he is to the Newcastle Jets squad. Perth Glory’s Liam Reddy is next best having made 33 saves for Kenny Lowe’s West Australians.
