Newcastle Jets held its inaugural ‘Jets in Business’ launch event at Hunter Stadium on Tuesday evening, with 25 Hunter-based businesses signing up as founding members of the Club’s fresh networking group.
The event and program is run in partnership with the Rangers of 1884, an existing football supporting business group, and aims to strengthen the club’s ties to the local business community
As well as a range of commercial and promotional benefits such as tickets to networking luncheons and match day hospitality, business people that signed their businesses up on the night became some of the first people in Newcastle to get their hands on the new Newcastle Jets 2015/16 Hyundai A-League home kits.

Prominent football personality Andy Harper from FOX SPORTS hosted the evening, with the attendees hearing from Interim Newcastle Jets Chief Executive Officer Mr David Eland, Head Coach Scott Miller, as well as a panel of senior players featuring Nigel Boogaard, Jason Hoffman, Mateo Poljak, and Daniel Mullen.
Attendees also received an exclusive update on the progress made with regards to the sale of the Club, and got an advanced viewing of the Club’s new Membership commercial which will be released in the coming weeks.
